Xbox multiplayer.

I have my xbox 1 x set as my home console, if i were to buy a 1 or 1s and loged into it, if my brother were to use the 1 x, would we be able to play the same game with out having to purchase it a second time?

Simple answer: Yes.

 

Less simple answer: If you have your account primary on the Xbox One X, and you go and play on an Xbox One S with that same account, you can play the game with your brother.

 

I'm not fully sure though, I'm not 100% experienced with Xbox.

In a nutshell: You can play your games on any console you log into, and in addition other people can play your games on the console you have designated as your home Xbox. Other people need to have and log into their own accounts. You can play the same game from your library at the same time, even together.

 

Remember to have your brother set the other console as his home Xbox, so you can both access each others' games.
