Gigabyte cards (GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme) doesn't work with Asus Aura Sync.

Can someone tell me what is the difference between those cards?  The difference I found was that extreme version has blazing 45Mhz higher boost clock and RGB logo on the backplate compared to the other one.

 

But like...is that it? For 50 euro more I get RBG logo and tiny boost clock that I don't care about because I will manually OC anyway?

The Extreme might be a better bin for a card but personally I would just go for the Normal Arous card.

Extreme has more power limit and I guess bigger cooler? Nvidia's reference design is great (excpet the cooler, less screws and no glue pls) but they give little room for custom cards to better further. I'd just stick to the cheap wins thing.

Don't buy either until gigabyte fixes their buggy aorus engine and RGB fusion software.

Its not like I plan using either of them. I will use the card and MSI afterburer.

You'll need RGB fusion of you don't want your card to be vomit orange. And RGB fusion comes bundled in with aorus engine.
