my monitor isnt actually showing me 144 hz....

hello guys! i got my new pc around 3 weeks ago. at first it was all good and i really had fun of it. i noticed some diffrences with the way my screen usually show the picture. the game is WAY less smooth than what it was when i got my pc.. im staying above 144 fps but it feels like playing on 100 and even less. does someone know whats the problem?

What does Fraps or the Steam FPS counter say?

Can't do much with feelings.

This is going to sound weird, but try chaning your mouse's DPI (if possible) or changing mouse. I had the same issue where, although set to 144 Hz in the settings, the screen wasn't truly showing 144 Hz; easily seen when dragging windows around. Changing mouse fixed it.
