Slow download speed

Hi, i have a problem that when i download something on opera it's so slow, i have a 160mb speed but opera download things at 300KB, I have the dame problem with Origin.

Steam Is the only app that download things at the right speed

you are obviously hogging the bandwidth with the steam download so thats normal also download speed also depends on the connection of the server you are downloading from, this topic is nowhere near related to the subforum you posted in.

20MB/s is around 160Mb/s, so where is the problem? it says it right on the steam downloads, so as @Levent said, it's hogging the bandwidth. Pause the steam download and you will see.

Nono, i just put the steam yo prove i have 20MB, but even pause the max speed on opera Is 300KB

OK, try a different browser and see what the difference is... try firefox. Also do you have VPN turned on in opera browser?

 

Oh. also try downloading something else to se if it's opera or the place you are downloading from. do a speedtest even on ookla.com.
