360mm aio + 2080ti in define r6 ok?

Hi

 

I am looking for a case  which can hold a 360mm aio and a ft3 evga 2080ti. I was just wondering would i have enough room for everything?

How thick of a rad are you going with?

More than enough room for that.  This is an R6 with a 1080Ti, rad is up top but you also see how much room there is to the right for a 360 rad too.

Agree, personally I would have the rad as you do, in the top exhausting from the case. Also this allows fresh air into the case from the front mounted fans to help cool motherboard etc with an AIO. That is how I have mine too, on all my builds with an AIO.

It actually happened because I screwed up and didn't measure the tubing for the TT Water 3.0, they are too short to mount the AIO in the front.  I would like it in the front for a balanced look, there is too much open area on the right and the top is squished. 

 

I DO agree with you about cooler air in the case for vrm's and gpu. vs letting the cpu get a little warmer.  Others may prefer front but GPU > CPU for me.

It's good, there is another fan on the bottom right bringing air in as well, so it's a cross ventilated case pretty balanced.  Temps are good but not stellar of course, it's more of a quiet case than an airflow case.

 

But it does well in both compared to others I have been around.  Plus it's a freaking pleasure to work in.  Yes, I'm looking at you Antec Nine Hundred (tho I love you so much).

Yeah, they are short AF, don't know what they were thinking. I don't worry about it looking "balanced" as such, I think "hey you might want to upgrade in the future and then you'd have to buy a new case if you got a more squat one, better to buy as big of a case for anything you may want in the future". Hell I have a corsair air 540 for my bigger builds, but prefer my cube-ish cases right now.. have a fractal design node 804 for my main build right now, as I have incorporated my NAS into it, instead of separates.. so basically a drive share in windows, with plex also. I will rebuild my NAS soon and have my Ryzen 1700 in it anyway, as I will upgrade to Ryzen 2 when it comes out.

Thanks. Also so i should be for temps with a 9900k and the gpu? I also wanted to ask how many SSDs/ hdds you can fit in the case if you take the cage out which i think it has

With a 9900K, you should be okay with a 360mm rad.  2080Ti will be fine with that airflow as well.
