Will there be an issue of bottlenecking, if I use a RTX 2080 founders edition with my old Ryzen 5 1600? Reply asap. Thanks for the help!

The R5 1600 already experiences some bottlenecking with a GTX 1080 or Titan X (Pascal), when compared to contemporaries like the i5-7600K or i7-7700K. But this is at 1080p. If you bump up the resolution to 1440p or 4K, it'll likely not be an issue.

Maximum for 1 year, please explain though?

With a 2080 you would be good for any CPU you might upgrade to in the next 5 years. Worrying about your current CPU is a little shortsighted, and a bottleneck isn't going to cause any real issues.

Depends what you're doing and what clockspeeds you're running at. Most people can easily get 3.8ghz out of a 1600 so I'll assume that.

At 1080p ultra? Bottleneck city. Don't do it.

At 1440p ultra? Meh should be fine

At 4k ultra? Ya you're good no bottleneck.
