Way to run multiple instances of the same game?

bman7842

The title sorta says it all, I wondered if there was some sort of application capable of launching the same game twice to basically allow for split screen play on games that don't technically support it. Was just curious if this was even possible without getting into complicated virtual machines, etc.

It depends on the game, try searching "multibox ______" with the game you want to run multiple copies of. Keep in mind you will lose about half of your performance as well.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Run the 2nd instance in a VM. If your hardware is good enough, the performance loss is small.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

VM is your only way. If you want a split screen experience you will need 2 mouse and 2 keyboard and you will need to assign each device to each machine. Otherwise your keyboard will send to both game the same input.
