Strange But Not Concerning AMD Ryzen 5 1600x Behaviour

Hi Guys,

So i have a question around my CPU usage and an odd issue i've been putting to the back of my mind for a while as it doesn't concern me that much.

I have noticed an odd CPU usage where when idle and no programs are running and nothing in the back ground bar windows, i see my idle usage go from 1% to 13% for a brief moment and then back to 1%. This was only noticed when i had my fan curve set to default when i first built the machine and would spike the fans each time. I have countered this since then and no longer bothers me. My question around this is, is this normal? Should i be concerned? Could this be a OC issue(Shouldn't be as i had this when it was stock)? Or is there something else i am missing. Sorry if this has been asked before, i couldnt find much on this at all.

Sounds like a background program, maybe a virusscanner or something like that?

Sounds reasonable, any way i can narrow this down? Software i can use. Resource manager shows nothing, i have no AV so i'm guess its windows defender.

My best guess would be to open task manager and wait for the spike to come. Question is whether you should really go through the trouble. If everything is performing as it should be I don't really see a problem. If it would go up to 100% it would be a different story, but this doesn't sound like it will give any issues.

I have checked there, nothing at all. You are right though, this is my OCD getting the better of me. Things are working extremely well, i should stop nit picking.

Thanks for you help though, rely appreciated.
