2560x1080: Vega 64 vs GTX 1080ti

KriticalCush

So, I'm at an impasse as to what want to buy at this point in time. There are fantastic deals on some vega 64 cards (around $400) that also come with 3 AAA titles that I was already going to pay for.

Or do I spend the extra cash and buy myself a used 1080ti and a good boost in performance overall but miss out on the 3 free games and have to spend about $100-$200 more than if I took the vega deal.

Just trying to play my games at as high settings as possible and still be able to push the 144hz refresh rate on my monitor.

should I go all out on the 1080ti or should I save some cash and get vega and 3 games I really do look forward to? Is the performance difference really going to be noticeable at 2560x1080 at 144hz?

(p.s: I am also currently running a gtx 1070 in my build paired with a ryzen 1700 at 4ghz and 16 GB of ram at 3000mhz)

I mean if you already have a 1070 I wouldn't bother with Vega 64. It's only like 25% faster. 1080ti is a bit better at around 50% faster though.

I think it's a pretty obvious choice here. Go with the Vega 64 and save up some cash while doing it.
