Reimaging is when you make a custom image(with you software and settings) and put in on a system. This is different as its already setup when you are done and you give it to the next user. This is most commonly used in large buinesses where its easier to make one image than setup systems induvually.

Re-imaging is the best way to go.  You can do a fresh OS install, load all the drivers and programs and do a Snapshot Image so to say, so if your PC crashes or upgrade to any drive or even a RAID setup, you just extract it and Boom, you are fully up and running.

This is the best program, very powerful and highly recommend -  Paragon Hard Disk Manager 12 Professional.

It backs up all sorts of Partitions, and even hidden Partitions that Windows installs during fresh install.
