Please check my cpu spec

i want to know if my cpu spec is okay or need to change part. Does it support moderate OC or not

 

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI - B450M PRO-VDH Micro ATX AM4
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Storage: Patriot - Burst 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Western Digital - Purple 1 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Mini
Case: Corsair - Carbide SPEC-04 (Black/Yellow) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Cooler Master - MasterWatt 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Replace the motherboard with a B450M MORTAR because that motherboard's VRM is trash, otherwise you're OK

Ram, at least 3000Mhz

I would propose 3200Mhz

AMD CPU's are hungry af for RAM

Technically you both are somewhat correct. I have ran my 1700 ryzen processor with both 2133mhz and 2933mhz and the difference is big, but between 2666 and 3000 mhz the difference is much smaller.

 

BUT 2666mhz and 3000mhz ram is max 10$ is in difference, so i would always recommend going for 3000 mhz for just a tiny bit more money. 3200mhz on the other hand is more expensive, so that is not worth it.

get a 7200RPM HDD instead, and an SSD.

Yeah i plan to change the motherboard too. Should i change B450 or X470 motherboard?

ADATA XPG Spectrix D80 3200mhz is cheap
