issues with watercooling

so i wanted to go with some exotic cooling for my system and this is what ive come up with(my case is a coolermaster h500p mesh)

the only problem is i don't really see a clear spot to mount the pump/reservoir combo unit

Where are you mounting the rad? Top or Front? Looking at the specs for the case, 420mm is not supported in the case from what im seeing. 

 

Radiator Options

Front - Up to 280mm / Front - Up to 360mm / Rear - Up to 120mm / Rear - Up to 140mm / Top - Up to 280mm / Top - Up to 360mm

you could prolly get cheaper form primochill and they have nicer stuff....just saying and yeah i doubt that rad will fit unless your modding the case

the top can fit 3 140mm fans so i thought it could support a 420mm radiator

Fans yes, but you have to take into account the extra length added for the fittings. This adds extra length to the overall size of the radiator.

NP, my recommendation would be to do a 360mm radiator up front and get a pump bracket like this:

They also have 140mm version as well.

Correct. I have both the 120 and 140 version. Here is how it looks in my case:

do u think a 60mm 360 radiator would fit with the front 200mm fans removed?

Doubtful with a GPU installed in a normal configuration and I wouldnt recommend air cooling a GPU in the vertical mount in that case sandwiched up against the glass. Since you're only doing a CPU on a single rad, the 30mm rad will be just fine. As it is, you will already ahve to remove the hard drive caddy from the basement to get the 360mm radiator in there to begin.

im planning to add a gpu waterblock in the future thats why im buying a thick rad from the start

as in current config I would just start with a 30mm rad and when you buy your GPU block and add it to the loop, you could always get a 2nd rad for up top

that could work i guesss(what about a 45mm?i like to go a bit overkill)

It might, your case has just over an inch compared to mine and I have a 30mm rad in front. What GPU do you have?

mmmk, its about a 1/2 inch shorter than my 1070 Gaming X. You might be able to get away with a 45mm thick radiator up front, but I cant say 100% for certain.. might be a tight fit.

There are other vendors for radiators out there besides EK. XSPC makes some great radiators as well.

They carry all the good water cooling brands you might find stuff you never knew about.

im assuming a push-pull config isn't possible with the reservoir mounted on the rad right?
