MSI AFTERBURNER HELP?

Hi

 

I have a problem that my msi afterburner wont work when I press the hot key and the osd wont come up

I'm speculating a 64-bit game.

Air 540, MSI Z97 Gaming 7, 4770K, SLI EVGA 980Ti, 16GB Vengeance Pro 2133, HX1050, H105, 840 EVO 500, 850 Pro 512, WD Black 1TB, HyperX 3K 120, SMSNG u28e590d, K70 Blues, M65 RGB.          Son's PC: A10 7850k, MSI A88X gaming, MSI gaming R9 270X, Air 240, H55, 8GB Vengeance pro 2400, CX430, Asus VG278HE, K60 Reds, M65 RGB                                                                                       Daughter's PC: i5-4430, MSI z87 gaming AC, GTX970 gaming 4G, pink air 240, fury 1866 8gb, CX600, SMSNG un55HU8550, CMstorm greens, Deathadder 2013

Lol, Afterburner doesn't even work with my 680, which is an MSI 680. The only setting which actually produces any change on the GPU is the power limit one. Setting that to maximum (132%) makes it go faster, but manually keying in clock speeds and stuff doesn't actually change those values on the card.

For this reason "MSI Afterburner isn't working" doesn't seem particularly surprising to me lol

Rivatuner OSD wont work in 64bit games and it is disabled in some games since it causes issues. But sometimes hotkey glitches out ,when that happens i need to enable it manually with going on to UI

Same here, only with battlefield 4 though and it's odd as it used to work. A useful little utility, especially when your card runs as hot as mine does. If you find a fix, do share.

MSI afterburner doesn't work in 64bit games. You have to use 32bit or get a really shitty extra monitor and watch msi afterburner in full from that.

Forgot the how to...

 

Right click BF4 and go into game properties, use x86, MSI will work now.

it wont work in mincraft because it uses open GL why whould you need to monitor you gpu in mincraft ...?

yea it dose not work in mincraft i believe it is because it is 64bit like battlefield 4 or because it uses open GL try some thing like Dxtory or Fraps or OBS which is free
