Meshify C Airflow

Recently received a Fractal Design Meshify C and looking to replace the preinstalled fans with 3 Corsair CO-9050040-WW ML Series ML120 Pro 120 mm Low Noise High Pressure Premium Magnetic Levitation Fans.

 

Would these be a good choice as a replacement?

Only have room for 3 fans, anyway watched a video done by Gamers Nexus and they used 2 140mm NF-A14 as front fans.

 

However I'm considering Noctua, Corsair or 3 120mm be quiet! Silent Wings 3 High Speed Fans BL070?

I know. You want to replace the stock fans, why not go with the best ones you can?

This is very true, how does 1 NF-S12A for exhaust and 2 NF-A14 for intake sound?

Chromax looks great. Regular ones are ugly.

They are but don't they come with less accessories in favour of just coloured pads? Although I doubt I'll need extentions with the Meshify C.

Why do you only have room for 3 fans? Are you not satisfied with the stock case fans?

3 Fans are more than enough and the stock fans are a little loud even with a custom fan curve..

What rpm are you running the stock fans at? The included GP-12 X2's are pretty good and should be relatively quiet.

I've set these at a percentage on 5 temp levels, although I have tirelessly tweaked and certainly not the quiets compared to my daughters build with 3 Phanteks F140SP fans.

 

I've already gone ahead and ordered 3 Noctua NF-S12A fans to replace them.

Interesting. I personally find GP-12 X2's a bit smoother sounding than PH-F140SP's when running at low rpm. 

NF-S12A's would definitely be quieter though. They're hard to beat and are what I'm running in my Meshify C.

Smoother I agree but they do carry a bumble bee's hum under the slightest of loads.

 

The Noctua's will be with me on Monday and I'll report back with my findings.
