Are games that run on the Unreal Engine (Like Fortnite and PUBG) more optimized for AMD or NVIDIA Graphics Cards?

 

Picked up a Superclocked 970 a few months ago and wanted to see if it will run better and more optimized on Unreal Engine.

That's a trick question right there. Finite runs well on anything while pubg and optimization are mutually exclusive.

I want to get into PUBG,  didn't look like the Unreal Engine 4 when I saw video of it.  But the video was or could have been recorded bad or it was just bad quality.

IMO Epic is fair to both team red and team green, so honestly one doesn't favor over another.

The Unreal Engine is 21 years old, they have it so optimized so it runs well on every kind of machine.

Source is that old, right? Source 2 is really needed for CSGO, but that's a change better for a new counter strike.

Yup I was 21 when I first played UT99 hehe and 20 for Unreal 1 hehe.

I dont get it sorry. lol  Man half life took me a long as* time to finish and what not.

If you look up "half life in 20:41" on youtube, one of the best (IMO) speedruns will come up. It's a very carefully crafted and planned speedrun of half life taking advantage of the physics of the gold source engine in half life. The group of runners who all did the speed run took advantage of bunny hopping, mostly but theres some pretty cool other stuff in there that they do.

 

You should watch it, it's one of the most entertaining speedruns I've ever seen.
