new GPU

guys this is my rig:

motherboard Asus prime b250m-a

cpu i5-7500

ram 8gb ddr4 2400mhz

im wondering between the rx 590 and the rtx 2060 which one should i get? or which gpu would you guys recommend my budget is around 370$ish

2060 kicks the 590's ass.

Looking at your i3 CPU (4 cores, the i5 7500 is pretty-much the i3 8100) I'd say even a GTX 1060 would sometimes be bottlenecked.

Go with an RX 570 8GB, an RX 580 or even a used RX 480 + invest in more RAM and replace your CPU soon.

An RTX 2060 wouldn't be properly used in your system, you'd need an i7 on the same socket or better...

okey som what if i get the rtx and then sometime in the future upgrade my cpu ram and motherboard, like i dont play at 1080 or 4k or none of that sht, my screen is 720p XD i go for a 60fps even if the rtx gets bottlenecked my performance would still be good for a 60fps gameplay right? like srly that's my aim 60 fps, i go for an rtx to have a gap for future upgrades without needing to worry about gpu since they get rly fcking expensive so how bad would the bottleneck be?

nope, buying a card with half-baked new tech and call that future compatibility is dumb

Get a rx, if you’re at 720p its perfect using the rtx with that cpu wouldn’t be a enjoyable experience. when things bottleneck you’d be going 60 FPS for example, buttt you’d have stutters and random frame drops and lots of weird shit you don’t want.

If I were you, I would get RTX 2060 for machine learning or any quadro cards for AutoCAD or Rx 590 for gaming.

It depends on what do you normally use your graphics card for. For example a 4k monitor doesn't really help much for parallel computing in contrast to gaming.

I don't know much about gaming but I believe that RX 590 is a good starting point for gaming and game development.
