Build for budget and performance

POQDavid

Well with this build I am planning to keep the price as low as possible while making a decent build

So far I like it but I am not sure what everyone thinks is this a good build?

Is there anything wrong with it?

if you got a used 1080ti on ebay you'd have around 2080 performance for roughly the same price if thats something you'd be interested in. Your also definitely going to want more than just a 250GB m.2, you're going to want a 1-2TB HDD to pair with it. You're also buying an extremely expensive motherboard. I hope you plan on overclocking if you're buying a board that expensive (which means you might want something better than a hyper 212 or you should spend less on the board)

Gaming - Ryzen 5800X3D | 64GB 3200mhz  MSI 6900 XT Mini-ITX SFF Build

Home Server (Unraid OS) - Ryzen 2700x | 48GB 3200mhz |  EVGA 1060 6GB | 6TB SSD Cache [3x2TB] 66TB HDD [11x6TB]

The RTX 2070 offers an average of 10% more performance but costs some 30% more compared to an RTX 2060.

The Hyper 212 Evo is a bit on the weak side for an i7 8700K if you plan on overclocking.

An 850W PSU is a bit overkill. Even a G3 650W would be plenty.

No idea why you're getting an overpriced z390 board and measly 212 evo. Get a Z390 aorus pro/master or taichi and use the money on a better cooler.

Well overclocking might be an option but not yet so I picked that board so i would have more options so I went with the best board I could

Also, I did think of second-hand card but I decided to go with a 2070 but new cause I also want the ray tracing and 2060 drops a lot when its used

I also didn't want to have any problems cause I am also planning for upgrades

and the M.2 drive is just going to be my boot drive so I don't really need 1TB
