Audio ports aren't working

Coriander

The audio ports on my computer are no longer working. I'm not sure what happened, but they randomly stopped recognizing any devices I plug in. Troubleshooting does nothing, nor does uninstalling & reinstalling the audio drivers, or disabling & reenabling the audio device on my motherboard.

Have you tried troubleshooting the devices via device manager?
Is that menu hiding any disconnected/disabled devices? (right click)

Nothing is showing up there either

Are there any "unknown devices" present in your device manager?
Is there anything under the audio section there at all?

Just the AMD audio driver

Sorry for late reaction, but聽I live on the other side of the world聽?

Click on AMD HIGH d......

Right click on it and chose "update driver"

windows ask you how to surch

We want to search for the driver on our OWN computer, choose that one聽 ( NOT聽the automatic option聽)聽

Windows ask you where to surch

Choose "I want to choose from a list of drivers of my computer"聽 (Don't touch the path options thats correct"

See pitcture!聽 chose "High Definition Audio-device"聽 and follow the last steps.
