all this plastic and the fans. then use zip ties or some metal wire to mount the fans onto the heatsink. its not going to be really that good looking but it should be functional and might even perform better

how do you remove the plastic is there a special screw or something any help would be appreciated(YOU ALREADY HELPED A LOT THANKS FOR SO MUCH EFFORT For me GOD BLESS YOU)

I have r9 380x fans are not working I am sure but I asked for support they ended the support for it. Anyone  know any thing I can do?. I have 2 of them in crossfire cant add other fan on top of it. is there a another cooling SOLUTION cheap as it is not worth investing more in r9 380x. any cheap and decent solution would be good for me? if  third party fans are available that can be replaced please tell me .Thank you .I am not rich

i see two solutions, either you buy an Acellero mono, or you buy two slim fans and strap them on with zip ties

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

are there no 100mm  fans like sapphire nitro 380x available in the market

i mean like, strap some thin 120mm fans on there, like these:

https://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Professional-Fine-Tuned-Performance-FN123/dp/B00NOTVCUQ/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_147_lp_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=GNE8HVQV3WZ032DCYQMQ

https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-A12x15-PWM-Premium-Quality-Quiet/dp/B071W6HJP6

just remove the shroud of the card and mount them straight on the heatsink

not sure on that specific card, but generally you remove the backplate and the metal bracket with the IO(the IO ports dont come out but the screws around the DVI do) and then you either remove the cooler which lets you remove the shroud or the shroud can be removed from there. there is probably a tear down on the web if you look around :)

you could go on alibaba or aliexpress and there might be some, i dont know of any though. i would either do this, or replace the cooler entirely with something like the Accellero mono
