GT 710 gaming

Is GT 710 1gb ddr3 compared with core i3-3220 and 4gb ram enough for playing terraria on 1080p 60fps highest settings, and half life 2 1080p 60 fps on low settings?

Sounds reasonable, but do you already have the 710? If not, don't bother buying it at all and use the integrated graphics of your CPU until you save enough to get a GTX 750.

But isn't igpu of i3-3220 to weak for hl2?

I would avoid any GT graphics card, get yourself something that starts with GTX. Alternatively, an HD 7770 from AMD would be better as well. Used prices are not bad.

well you can cut a hole in the side panel or leave it off

 

Otherwise try to get a 750 or a 1030, there much better.

hunt for used ones, but if you want cheap, id get a biger card and leave the side panel off.

Anything R5 is also not suitable for gaming, especially not a 230. Really, just don't buy a GT or R5 graphics card, GTX Or R7 at least.
