Multiple gpu's for more ports

Hey guys, 

i was wondering, if i would add a second old card i have lying around to my system (ryzen 7 1700, RX 580 etc) just to use the ports on that card, can it use the performance from the rx580 when i play a game or work (Unity, 3ds max, photoshop)

You can use another video card for extra ports if need be, but games will default to using the GPU connected to what's considered the primary display. So just make sure the primary display is on the RX 580.

Okay, thanks for the tips, will it work if i put an nvidia together with the rx580?
