My First Builds Graphics Card

A decent RX 580 8G should be cheaper than that, while performing better.

Not so sure about better performance, outside base level APIs like OpenGL and Vulkan the 1060 and the 580 are basically identical.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

580 8G would probably be a better overall choice than a 1060 3G, but you have a good point.

Unless you venture into the used market then, those are probably your best options. I'd take the 580 personally for the extra 5GB of VRAM over the 1060 3GB for the same price.

I did overlook that 3gb part, but then I'm not so sure about cheaper (depends on the retailer)

A 580 8GB for the same price as a 1060 3GB is a win for the 580

Craigslist, LetGo, Wish, Kijiji, Ebay. Be wary of scams should you look into those options, but the 580 is probably the best you're gonna get outside of venturing into those.
