Benq Zowie or Acer or other monitor?

Giga Bus Driver

I'm planning on buying a new monitor for my gaming pc. I don't really want to spend too much on a monitor as I'm more of a casual player but I do want the nice smooth 144Hz or more.

So far I've found 3 options.

BenQ Zowie XL2411P 1080p 144Hz 24" TN panel

Acer KG251QD 1080p 240Hz 24" TN panel

Samsung G70 1080p 144Hz 24" curved VA panel

All 3 are the same price. (How are AOC AGON monitors?)

I haven't been able to find many reviews of these monitors so I really have no idea which would be best. That's why I would appreciate some information about these monitors or similar monitors from the same brand.

As for the games that I play, its for games like PUBG and occasional League of Legends and Overwatch from time to time as side games. Thats why I don't think I'll need over 144Hz on PUBG but might be nice(?) in league or overwatch, but these are just side games.

Which monitor/brand makes the best/is a safe option?

As far as picture quality, the BenQ is #1.  As far as performance I don't think you need 240hz unless you have 2080Ti in SLI.  Grab the 144hz BenQ all day.  Except what is your preference, flat or curved ?  Once you go curved there is no going back.  I would personally choose the Samsung just for the fact its curved and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

Well to be honest I really couldn't care about curved but then again I've never used curved so I don't know if its any good or a gimmick. In my mind, it just seems like a cool gimmick but again I've never tried curve.

It is not a gimmick.  TV's are not popular for curve and aren't being made much because a TV should be FLAT and your sitting far away.... However behind your PC you will immediatly notice how the monitor hugs you.  I recommend curved then after say a month or so put a flat screen in front of you and you will throw up!

Sorry I personally am not a fan of 27inch monitors for gaming because I think they are too large to play games on, its slightly distracting so thats not what I'm currently looking for.
