screen goes purple?

Im on 144hz monitor with dual link dvi cable and my youtube videos go purple and stuff when i watch them but with the hdmi its fine. Any help?

Bad cable bruh.  Get a new one.  Go DP, all the cool kids are doing it nowadays

You're really hitting a wall dude. First your 144hz doesn't have DP, then you get dvi-dual link and then the cable is a dud.....

oh well i have 2 of the dual dvi cables one i bought for £6 off aMAZOn and 1 that came with the monitor and they both make it go purple on full screen

Wiggle the cables, if the screen flickers, then you have issues with either the cables, or the connections on the monitor.

just loaded up fortnite and my game is running AT 69FPS constant with framerate unlimited and it has the fps in orange instead of green and the screen is blury and weird colour

the video card has been running fine at 60hz with hdmi for a wekek and its the same with my other monitor but ive recently switched to dual dvi as my monitor runs at 144hz with it
