Bluetooth headphones not working android

I have a rooted OnePlus 6 and I have just bought some wireless headphones for it and it is pairing fine but when I play music, I just get a bit of background noise and no audio.

can u try a different phone to connect your Bluetooth headphone? check out if a sound is good or not.

I have tried them with my laptop and they work.

well, I think rooting a phone can cause your phone as well as the hardware. please unroot the phone and check out how does it sound.

can you even unroot a device? I thought rooting was permanent

Half of that is totally trivial and the other half is handled very well with new decent smartphones

Essential for me.

Heck for some phones a lot of people would root it just to swap out the OS (see Linus' pocophone)
