LTT @ CES 2019

Why didn't linus review the 1440p lenovo legion y27gq gaming monitor with 240hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms response time? It's a pretty big step up isn't it?

still 3 days left of CES, probably hasnt gotten too it yet

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

No Lenovo videos as of now, but you can't say anything until show is over. But do keep in mind that they have tight schedule and have to prioritize.

because i don't think another high refresh rate is really that high on the priority list for most people

my problem with ltt's coverage of CES is actually the title used for the videos. Very hard to be discovered when searching. For example, if i search 'aero 15 linus tech tips', i do not get 'The WORST demo at CES" because that's not how youtube search works.

show

He has to space his videos out. He puts videos that are excelllent in one pile, video's that are good in another, so-so in another, perhaps make some filler videos and plans his launches appropriately to maximize profits. I'd love to see what goes into the analytical side of Youtube, but it doesnt interest me that much to get into the nitty gritty details. I am sure there are programs out there whether independant or YT and also companies that can be hired to help out in sales.
