notification counter not working with the pop up notifications.

I agree, but it's not something that we can change, and IPS has not been receptive to it when it's been suggested in the past.

if I get a notification, I get the counter on the icon and a pop-up from Safari (because I have the site pinned) but if I click the pop up it will not reset the icon counter back to zero. 

 

this is extremely annoying because I need to click the pop-up, reply, and then click the icon twice to reset the counter to zero.
