I don't believe you. Even the dutch tell me the dutch don't speak dutch. Why the fuck is everything named dutch?

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

So it's either having something that's fooled by a photo or something that requires an intricately developed mask to fool.

Yeah, I'd take the latter. I doubt any old thief would be so desperate to the point where they would have to mould a mask.

As I like to put it: if someone is so determined to access your phone that they're willing to create a special mask, you have much, much bigger problems than a thief peeking at your email.

OnePlus is trickable. I know that I have seen reports of people tricking their OnePlus device. It just goes to show that just because one test or one person can't trick the phone doesn't mean another can't.

A society's accepted views of the world surrounding said society is both the making and undoing of society itself.

I'm not surprised, because all these brands took a "let's just copy Apple" approach to making facial recognition.   I have a low opinion of these mid tier Android phones because they're all the same damn thing with a different logo on the front, and Mr. Chen don't know what the fuck he's doing.  Even on an Apple phone I'd rather have TouchID than FaceID.

That's every company's mobile manufacturer's philosophy, apart from Google and Samsung (maybe some others), everyone else just jumps on the bandwagon, it's really bad for the industry because it allows Apple to get away with anything, because soon enough, it's the norm and consumers don't really have an alternative.
