Harkulles
Go to solution Solved by Harkulles,

I have fixed it. Thx :) i cleared the CMOS with the battery in a different wayhave a  :)

Hi,

I tried to OC my R 5 1600. I gave it 1,35V and 3,7ghz.

Now i have a blackscreen when i turn it on.

I tried many times to reset the CMOS:

-I shorted JBAT1 for 10sec after powering off the system and pushing the power botton for 10 sec.

-I took out the CMOS Battery and shorted it also for 10 sec. I even took it out over night.

(The PSU was also unplugged)

Nothing helps!

System:

Ryzen 5 1600

MSI B350M PRO VDH

RX580

400W BE QUIET system power 9

Thx 4 the help :)

lower the voltage. that is a way to high voltage for such a overclock. you are running into powerthrottling

1.35v shall be bootable on any b350, may also try auto voltage.

how about ram & gpu all set to default?

the psu is a little worrying , I had my 1700 @1.42w peaked at 140w

yeah, powerthrottling and then crash (most likely anyway).

if you cant boot into BIOS, then reset CMOS and try again
