APU 6550D not working

So I'm trying to get my APU started up again so I can do something with it, but when I take out my 650ti and plug both/either screens into the motherboard nothing shows on the screen and I think it still successfully boots into Windows because I can see my ethernet card flashing. Halp.

 

If I run one screen on the APU and one on my GPU that doesn't work either. I used to use the APU before I got my 6750 so I know that it used to work.. I've also already tried resetting the BIOS with the CMOS jumper. (I don't think BIOS is the problem because my board came with version 3.0 which is still the latest)

clear cmos it happens with my rig as well it wont detect any external gpu's and wont enable igpu even if i plugged cable in to it

I got it to work by plugging in my old screen through DVI.. Anyway, my new problem is that no matter what I set it to in the BIOS it will automatically shut the 6550D off when I boot with the 650ti plugged into it.

HOW. It's grayed out in the BIOS since it knows there's a Nvidia GPU in it and I can't do anything in Catalyst.
