GTX 1050 and I5 7300HQ.

Go to solution Solved by Plexter,

I can confirm - buy 7300HQ, and you basically put yourself in the grave, if you will try to game on such laptop.

My friend has a laptop with GTX 1050 and I5 7300HQ. He says that its shitty combo and I5 is bottlenecking GTX 1050. When goes in to Fortnite on Epic settings he has 100% CPU Usage. Is it the CPU's fault or some apps running in the backround?

Both. If a CPU can't run background apps it's too weak, but of course they can be closed as well.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Very high CPU usage in gaming with a mobile i5 is pretty normal. As long as the framerate is decent and there's minimal to no stuttering, then there's nothing to worry about.

Closing down background programs can help a bit though.
