I know it is a form factor that is still relatively new and there may not be a great deal of choice out there but what do people think about android tablet laptops and what recommendations would you make?  At the moment I use windows 10 on a surface pro but I am really drawn to android because of all the apps and some of the games.

I really dislike Chrome OS as a concept (don't shoot me!) so any ideas on machine that:

Runs full Android

Has tablet screen that can be disconnected from keyboard

Can work with an external mouse as well as trackpad

(Icing on cake feature) can be connected to external monitor

(Cherry on top feature) can support dual monitors

Thanks!

Ed

Right now, your only real choice is the Galaxy Tab S4.

With that said: I honestly wouldn't get an Android tablet/laptop hybrid.  It's arguably the worst of both worlds: you neither get many apps optimized for tablets nor the sheer flexibility of a PC.  I'd rather get an iPad Pro if I was going to go for a pseudo-laptop, since it has more apps, more games (which will run faster) and can connect to an external monitor.  You don't have mouse support, but virtually everything else is better.

Which Surface Pro do you have?  If it isn't recent (i.e. current or previous-gen), it might be tempting to just upgrade to the Surface Pro 6 and play the games that machine can handle.
