Dead Island : Riptide fixed for PS3?

Guys with Dead Island : Riptide for PS3 I heard it was the version that had the most issues.  I do see that frame rate issues were fixed somewhat with one patch but haven't seen anything that has said that the game was pretty much completely fixed.  Can anyone tell me how this game is now in it's current state on the PS3?  The reason I am asking about this is I wanted to buy the Rigor Mortis Edition which is highly discounted right now for PS3 but I don't want to get it if the game is pretty much unplayable on the console I mentioned.  Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Personally don't really have any idea but I've heard that it's not that great of a game anyways. I've played most of the first game and I wanted to get the second but a lot of people said it's practically the same thing.

Eh I could not resist getting the Rigor Mortis Edition for $19.97 for PS3.  Free shipping when I threw in Prince of Persia (Xbox 360) for $1.97 so eh guess I can't complain.  I did play Dead Island : Riptide as a rental but didn't get too far and the default controls irritated me but I should be able to change those and really I like zombie games so eh even if it ends up buggering up saves and plays like a turd I should get some fun out of the game and then I have all the nice extras.  I really liked the idea of the special case for the game and the bottle opener / fridge magnet that comes with it and the other things included aren't bad too.
