Razer Kraken Headset Mic Problem

Hi All,

 

My Razer Kraken Mercury Headset microphone has not been working properly for the past week. I can talk through it but it distorts the voice and is extremely bad quality whenever I talk, to the point that my friends cant hear me. I have resorted to using my webcam mic and was thinking of getting a blue yeti. HOWEVER, I went on my hard drive to get some passwords today and discord automatically opened and when I joined my friends call, my headset mic was working perfectly. However I switched back to my ssd and it wasn't working properly again. I have uninstalled and installed all drivers, installed razer synapse again, done everything I can think of. Anyone have an idea?
