thank you guys for the information,

I do not have a twitter but will make one if needed, do you know how I would find his email on this forum? or pm him? sorry for the noob questions

This is his profile on this forum: https://linustechtips.com/main/profile/3-linustech/

You can click the "Message" button to send him a PM.

They have a contact page on their business site too: http://www.linusmediagroup.com/contact-us/ but that is likely only meant for business inquiries.

Another possible way to get in contact with the people of LMG is through their Discord: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/863013-ltt-official-discord/

I am not familiar with that Discord, but I am sure there will be at least some LMG employees there.

Of course I am in no position to say this, but I kind of doubt he will be able to give you that GPU.They will probably (have to) send the GPU back for warranty and not toss it..

But you never know I guess ?

hey im probly not going about this the right way but in a recent video linus states that they have a video card that will never work again, im wondering if he would sell it? or if there is something I can do for him for it. Do you think this is the best way to contact him? Thank you guys for your time, -sam

thanks for the quick reply abdul

That card is likely getting sent back to the SO who shipped them the system along with the whole system if I had to guess.

I just figured id ask incase this is a situation were the card would get tossed due to extensive damage. id hate to see something so new go to waste when I would sacrifice a board and solder it to it if need be.

If you want contact Linus, there are multiple ways. Twitter, PM here, email etc. If they would send you something like that, you would be paying for shipping and any other fee. Customs and so on.

Looking on that video, though, its DigitalStorms, and their shipping and insurance company issue to fix and replace that card. So I doubt you will get it. Such expensive shipments are always insured, just if things do break. Insurance will cover such minor things.

They don't release stuff easily anyway. Only things that they really don't need to anything. Like those beanbag chairs. Or old iMac Pro.

That's from the ROG Rig Reboot PC ._. which would be ASUS themselves

Oh, my mistake. But thats still shipping thing if system is shipped at one piece. And usually anything with that kind of price tag is insured against any damage done by shipping.

The only two who talk on the Discord openly are Jakkuh and Aprime.  Linus has said one thing and hasn't spoken directly since then.  He and Luke have notifications turned off anyways on the Discord.
