Hello, I have recently built a PC in the Node 304 and the built in fan controller has a molex power connector. And the pins are bent. My motherboard only has 2 fan headers(CPU, and Case Fan 1) and I have 3 case fans. So I am just running off of the exhaust. I have been running pretty cool but I dont want my system overheating when I render for a couple days.

Thanks!

My PC:

CPU: Xeon E3 1230 V3(Haswell) @ 3.7GHz Motherboard: AsRock B85M-ITX RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP Blue @ 1600MHz Storage: Intel 520 Series 120(Boot), Seagate Barracuda 500GB @ 7200RPM, Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB @ 5400RPM GPU: ZOTAC GTX 970 @ 1.4GHz Case: Node 304 Power Supply: CX430

You could try straightening the pins, just do it gently you don't want to snap them. Otherwise if you're not feeling brave I agree with Bloodyvalley 'RMA' the damaged part. Get a replacement sent to you.

What's your question? RMA the fan controller?

Just power the fans from the power supply with a molex to 3 pin adapter: Posted Image

The problem is that I think they were straight when I got the case..

Try adjusting the actual wiring of the molex pins. Move it side to side. Wiggle the wires, the pins should move.

So then what's your question?

Well is there a way I could bend the pins back into place safley? Maybe even get a different molex device I dont use anymore and takr the connector for it and maybe solder it on to the board?

Just take your finger and bend them back, I did that yesterday building a system with some bent molex pins.
