You’re trying to guess conclusions. Why are we just taking 250w?

 

The CPU alone can consume 260w at full load, overclocked. Now take away ram, fans, cpu cooler, drives, and GPU....

 

We don’t know their methodology. We don’t know how much the rest of the system consumes. So we can tell exactly the motherboard alone consumes.

Yeah, that was the time ages ago.

Intel Changed the definition of TDP to mean at base frequency. Not Turbo.

Is that even overclocked or at "specified clockrates", just without the time limit on boosting??

Or rather: Let the CPU run free without limitations.
