Suggestions for Editing/Gaming laptop

Hey guys 

 

I have been using desktops only for my entire life but recently i wanted to bring PS and Sony Vegas around with me to be more productive and get more things done and probably play some games with my friends if i go over to their place so im looking for suggestions for a laptop that wont be that bad when it comes to editing and is able to play games

2k USD and below cause for my country thats around 8k+

Malaysia, 2k usd and below, honestly any weight is fine and as for battery life as long as it isnt too bad im fine with it

around 8k or below and min 6 i guess

Not so sure on battery life:

Illegear Z7 (Quanta NL9U)

Illegear Laguna (Quanta NL5C)

 

All with CFL-H i7

Not sure how well does a laptop GPU perform compared desktop GPU but would a 1060 be sufficient in this case

Yup, CPU performance matters more for your workload. Also, not many 1070 laptops have >6 hrs battery life
