The most bank for the buck Z77 Motherboard

I've just got an i7-3770k Intel CPU from my bro (he's upgrading to 3970x and unforturnately sold his old z77 motherboard..zzZZ),

and now i dont really have a clue on what motherboard to buy.

I already have GPU, Memory, PSU etc.....from my not really old PC, and just thinking on just buying a motherboard for now.

Can you guys give me a few suggestion, bugget around 200$~150$...mybe less...lol... THNX

Biostar Z77X HiFi offers a lot of features for $150.

The boards that listed below offer similar functionality, but for different money.

UD3H/UD4H/UD5H

GD55/GD65

Extremely biased but I would say the ASRock Z77 Extreme4

The only Z77 board I've built with but it was great, at a solid, reasonable price

EDIT: BUY SOON! Deal on this board ends in a couple days, I would pick it up now, $130 after MIR down from $180

Probably Gigabyte z77x-d3h, Msi Gd 65, asrock extreme 6, which are more or less in the same price range.

If you want some premium, I think you should not stop until the tier with lik Asus z77 sabertooth, Gigabyte up5.

Ok guys I pick a few motherboards that you guys suggested and here it goes:

Asus P8Z77-V LK,ASROCK Z77 EXTREME 4, GIGABYTE Z77X-D3H and MSI Z77A-G43

all of them are quite similarly priced except the msi is a bit cheaper, so which one? =)

ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 / MSI Z77A-GD55/65 / ASUS P8Z77-V / Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H -- all can be found for roughly around the same price point (~$135) and all offer near enough the same features as each other. The ASRock is one of the cheapest and is going for under $130 on newegg.

The Msi m-power is a great motherboard as well. Certified for 4.6GHz, and currently at $185CA at NCIX

Here's a link

Here's Linus's unboxing

Yes i agree, The MSI M-Power is a pretty good motherboard for its price, overclock-ability, testing and looks exceptionally well all together. :D

Out of the four, the Extreme4 and the D3H are good choices. The G43 and LK are decent, but they don't have as much phases which isn't as good for overclocking, especially with longevity in mind.

Trust in Asus and as already stated a p8 would be good just pick which has what you need. but if it was me I would push that budget to the limit and get a maximus v gene right at 200 before shipping

z77a-gd65 pr gd 55, the diff is the cpie slots are 8x4x4x (with ivy bridge cpu at pcie3) or 8x8x4x at pcie2 speeds. i picked a 65 for 124.99 + tx and shipping from ncix, dont know if that deal is still on

**edit** only the 4x slot in the 55 is at pcie2 speeds, but all the slots on the 65 are pcie3
