AIO tier list?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

On a scale from Asetek to Asetek how Asetek is this Asetek AIO?

Perhaps a tier list is a good idea? I know nothing about water cooling, I always stuck to air cooling for reliability. I came looking here and hoping to see a tier list like in some other parts of the forum. Is there a reason why there is none? Or is it simply because no one has bothered to make one?

We could list them by things like:

- Pump quality

- Quality of tubes

- Durability of the entire thing (how long you can expect it to properly cool the cpu before dying)

- Quality of fans included (quietness etc)

- Refillable

- ...

It can be subjective, out of 10 reviewed for example could have widely ranging opinions on the components quality, loudness etc etc.

The majority of them are based on the tried and true Astek design and if so there are minor difference with them other than selling features such as braided tubing, RGB lights, control options, and higher quality fans.

Here @WoodenMarker has made a best air coolers thread:

It included air and water coolers, doesn't go quite in depth as you are suggesting though. It's stickied in the air cooling sub forum, but maybe needs a link in the watercooling sub forum too..
