I want to stream games on Twitch, but at the moment I only have an AMD FX-6300 6 core CPU.
I have recently purchased these upgrades to go into my PC.

That RAM, you should have purchased a dual channel kit.

A320 is a disaster of a chipset. You really should have gone for B350, manufacturers cheap out on A320 so hard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Is it too late to return the motherboard and RAM?

If not, I would return the motherboard and buy a minimum of a B350 motherboard and if you can afford it, dual channel 16GB (2x8GB) 2666/2933/3200 RAM.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

I only had a budget of around 200 or so, and everything's already purchased, so I don't think I will be able to return anything as it is kind of a Christmas gift, but will it still work?

I would strongly recommend returning the motherboard at the very least.

If you bought the parts within the last 2 weeks you still have time to return the item and ask for a full refund for the motherboard.

If you can't for whatever reason then I would sell the motherboard on eBay and then save up and buy a B350 motherboard later.

Actually no, if he can't afford more he still should get any b350 with 4 dimms and go 2x4gb instead because dual channel matters too much for Ryzen... just as much frequency matters for infinity fabric.

I do know, but while it will increase performance by a lot if you get faster RAM, you won't suddenly lose 50% of your performance lol

You actually do for a lot of stuff streaming included, I understand you want to justify yourself not having dual channel but lets focus helping OP get the bigger picture aye?

Yes, it's just that for the bare essentials it's alright.

(I have an even worse RAM kit and a 1500X which is worse than the 1600 and it can still stream 100% OK at 1080p 60fps 12k bitrate)

tbh i dont care about overclocking too much, but in what ways low quality, will i not be able to stream properly bc of it?

The motherboard is awful and Ryzen is a system that Needs overclocking to be optimal if you don't want to overclock but save money every corner make an i7 8700 + H310M system instead with the 8gb memory then you'll be fine.

A quick analogy; you don't put shitty tiers on a Ferrari right? there's something called compatibility... the A320 chipset boards are garbage that will break fast and throttle your CPU performance hard.
