hhd not detected after dban and format

so i just did a dban and a format of my hdd. it worked all fine and stuff, then i wanted to install some games on it and left the pc, the pc then went to sleep mode, and when i turned the pc back on the hdd wasnt there anymore, i tried to switch sata cables, did not work. idk what could be wrong, i can fell that the drive is getting turned on but it not showing up on the pc, what to do?

i spent $3500(23,000dkr.) on building my pc and i only play csgo on low settings..

Does the drive show up in the BIOS?  Have you tried using something like the AOMEI Partition software to see if the drive shows up there?  Give it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  And it's FREE.

Could just be the system hiding an empty drive... have you looked partitioning and formatting in system tools?

First thing to do is make sure the drive is showing up in windows, on windows 10:

  1. click on start 
  2. type 'disk management'
  3. select 'create and format hard disk partitions'

If the drive is there right click it(like below) and select format(make sure you format the right one), once formatted it should show up in my computer.
