Time to buy a mechanical, re-install Windows on your SSD, and use the Mechanical for your games.

I'm sorry, what? You do not need 12GB of  pagefile or any such nonsense. I've been running 1GB of page file for 2 years and have never had any problems with any games. The old "rule" of 1.5GB pagefile per gig of ram is back from the dark ages of computers having 1-2GB of RAM maximum. There is no reason for that much RAM utilization as you're showing, it is most likely due to a memory leak in some program. A reboot should fix the problem.

You can use smaller pagefiles ofc. But with memory leaking games and big, cheap HDDs why should it be small? I'm using 16gb which is overkill, but that on only HDD I don't really care. We have 20Gb pagefile on one older pc which would be hell to boot otherwise. Or use anyway. So as long as you don't mind space it takes, I don't understund why to leave it so small.

To OP, you'd better have min and max amount at same so it will always use max and you won't notice performance changing.

I mentioned this earlier. If you have installed Windows on an HDD, the pagefile can be as big as you want. I was referring to windows on an SSD not needing more than 1-2GB pagefile to save room for other things if space is tight. If you have an HDD, be my guest and use a 20GB pagefile if you want. It won't make a blind bit of difference but it also won't adversely affect you in any way.

Ahem... you don't have to use pagefile on SSD even if windows is on it. As for me, I freed 10gb from SSD by moving pagefile from it to HDD. Windows doesn't care on which drive pagefile is as long as it knows where to look for it.

Ah, you're right. However, page file on a hard drive is so abysmally slow that I can't understand why anyone would use it. Get an extra 4GB of RAM for goodness sake, and the need to page anything goes away :P
