Server going slow?

The kind of DDoS makes no difference. Unless they DDoS LTT's DNS servers (which is NOT DRDos), the service will always be slow, but not non-existent ;)

That's what I was trying to think of. :rolleyes: Silly me.

That could be flooding the SQL server making posts and likes slow.

It's possible. It's kinda like trying to put a 1" wide tube in a half-inch wide hole when something gets DDoSed.. It ain't gonna work.

apparantly, it's not a DDoS. Reason for slow posting is unknown yet.

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the back-end runs Linux, so that would rule out a virus. Slow posting usually indicates a problem with the database

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the back-end runs Linux, so that would rule out a virus. Slow posting usually indicates a problem with the database

Linux still gets viruses, but it really rare. I do agree with the database part though. It might be corrupted or maybe gone.
