Is Ryzen 3000 worth the wait?

Hi, so I ordered the Ryzen 7 2700x and the Asus Prime x470 pro on black friday. Should I return them and wait for ryzen 3000 to come out in may?

 

Right now my build is:

i3 8100

gigabye b360 ds3h

gtx 1060 6gb

128gb ssd

1tb hhd

600w evga psu

did you get  2700x & mobo for big discount?

the rumors for R3000 is crazy right now, and expect to get these at msrp, even 20% over perf R2000 should be worth waiting

thats not the board i'd get for ryzen 3000, so rough choice, if you don't need the comp right away, i'd return the whole thing

Then sell i3-8100 for 80$

Can the VRMs on my motherboard handle the i7 8700 in gaming for multiple hours? I have the Arctic Freezer 33 esports one cpu cooler.
