How hot is your fluid?...giggity.

I just finished up my first hardline build and am doing some testing and work on my fan curve.  While purposely trying to heat soak it (Furmark and OCCT running...700w+ at the wall) the hottest I have seen the fluid in my loop so far is ~41c.  Just wondering what everyone elses equalizes at.  Also, do you test for your hottest temp then just set the curve to hit 100% there or do you hit 100% at a lower temp?

22C about with round 700w input into the loop.

fans run at 9v. i dont care for pwm i use a fan controller that i adjust manually.

fan speed is entirely dependent on how 'hot' you want your system (the parts) and if you can shed heat.

Room is about 21c.  This loop was built for silence over performance.  Although I am pretty happy with the real world usage temps too.

when i dont open up the balcony i have seen fluid go as high as 24c..

(i expanded my system for maximum shiggles a year or two ago)   and   its from the era of  power hungry architecture to get results, and the start of the we can almost do the same with smaller bits that use way less power era too.

thats really how i feel about the 'new' parts   they are not really achieving much that most end users cant really appreciate at the moment.  Except for those that weren't on the upgrade wagon the past decade or so.   Since the infection of pocket computers has radically changed how tech and software develops.

what are the specs of you watercooling gear? My setup hit around 42C coolant temp in the same case with 3 rads and room temp around 27C - around the same power consumption (live in siberia with -25C outside) Here is pic of my rig

9590, 2(290x)

cooled by  480+420mm rads,   Noctua's on bot (1500/1700 rpm: 140/120mm)

dual D5 in series  single loop, all fans made into custom 1 knob controlled fan  banks  (with a 5 fan L shape of 40mm noctua's over my vrm heatsink replacing the 140mm you see in that nice lights out pic)

at night when i open the door (cause i literally prefer the cold of winter of heat of summer)   my computer is like right there..

Spoiler

41 sounds equivalent to mine at ambient of 25 degrees or so.

I don't have a temp sensor so it's a bit hard to tell... I did touched a fitting just to get an idea of how hot the fluid has gotten after an hour of gaming. My guess is around 35C ~ 40C. Ambient temperature is around 18C ~ 20C.

Had some issue with my board so no cpu temp. Which means no fans spin.

My 1080’s were in the 60’s along with the 8700k.

Dont know the water temp as I made the mistake of getting a cheap board. But the radiator was very hot to the touch.

But normally when I have good boards and temp senrors, 41/42c is the norm.

That looks great.  I have a 420mm and 280mm Hardware Lab GTX 54mm thick rads.  The 280mm running puch pull and the 420mm just push using Noctua NF-A14 fans.  My pump is an EKWB D5 res combo.  Im using a Aquero 6 LT for control.

I'll try to snap a decent pic of it later.
