Buying an "Open box" Gpu

Theres a pretty good deal on a 1070ti ($350 which is a good price in my country) the only thing im worried about is that its an open box model used for display on a store (the vendor says it was 2 months out of the box and used only to show the card).
Is it safe to buy this card or i have to ask some questions before even thinking in buying it

safe to buy as long as its a reputable vendor.

I'd buy it. I'm assuming when you say "for display" you mean it was used to show off the GPU (like in a glass case), not to drive 6 different televisions that are on display.

Depends what the vendors return policy and warranty are. Only you'd know that Kind of hard to say without knowing.

The site has tiers and this one is "platinum tier" so i'll guess its pretty good

Yes, he also says that it was like 2 only 2 months or so

So that's what i was wondering but i guess a simple question will fill it
