Abysmal Performance T_T

I need help my laptop is so slow, to the point where it takes 10 minutes to boot and take the same time to simply open File Manager or Chrome. And when I opened Task manager, the CPU isn't maxed out but the HDD is always at a 100% and the system uses 3gbs of RAM just from on the desktop without running any program. 

Its has an

i5 8250u

4gb ddr3 1600mhz RAM

Nvidia Mx150

Also the HDD is a 2TB Drive without any partitions, not exactly sure what brand it is.

check HDD smart status with something like crystaldiskinfo, also what process is taxing your HDD?

When I checked the task manager "System" is eating it up

What is the read speed during these slow downs?

It's a hard drive filled with bloat, this is to be expected. Would you be willing to reformat windows with a fresh install? Either that or install an SSD in that bad boy.

Yeah it does have alot of bloatware though, dont really have budget for an SSD nor RAM upgrade. The laptop alone cost about $720 in my country

Then perhaps consider fresh installing windows. I bet there's some accumulated junk in the system.

Hmm not sure, maybe I was looking at response times when I checked. Latency spiked to about 98-130ms

Would I be able to install drivers from the internet if I did opt for a reformat?

Yes you should absolutely be able to, but if you want them beforehand you can just download them onto a flash drive. You can do that with your favorite browser too, download the chrome installer or what have you.

No. There's technically an integrated graphics driver for some laptops, but for the most part it does effectively nothing.

You're in need of a re-install and maybe a HDD. I had a very similar situation with my Inspiron 13, ended up being both.
