Help with a girl?

Hey guys, I don't know if there is too personal for the forums but from my expierence with forums everyone is really nice! So I trust I wont be made fun of...

 

My Girlfriend and I have been in a relationship for 1 years and close friends for 2 (one of those 2 we were together) 

I personally thought we got on great, with the exception of the fights that couples have. We would have 2 small fights a month but since we're both very stubborn they would blow up and last about 2 hours. Sadly she dumped me a few times during the year but we always talked and made up within a few days. The last week we had about 3 fights in 3 days, they were all small and fixed in an an hour or two, but when my she went home she broke up with me. 

I've tried talking her around and saying that I with fix things and work on making myself a better person so we could be together. Sadly she wont see past the last 3 fights. She says she cant keep letting herself get hurt and that she doesn't want to do it anymore. I've told her that its silly to ruin a relationship over 3 small fights, I've told her to see past them and think of happier days, when we went to concerts together, meeting eachothers family, when we tried for a baby and when i got her a promise ring and promised that one day I will be her husband. 

Any time i talk to her she just ignores me or tells me she cant let herself get hurt again. I've told her that I'm looking at guides on how to be the best person I can be and that i've been looking at getting in touch with a councillor since I haven't been the happiest lately. I even told her that I was going to ask her to marry me this weekend. I told my mum that I loved her very much and planned on marrying her, and my mum gave me her mums wedding ring. All my gf (Ex) says is ' I'm sorry but i cant let myself get hurt' She also told me that for the last month of the relationship she hasn't been happy. 

What should i do? I love this girl so much that I can't even put it into words, she's my everything and without her I have nothing.

Yes and no; no because Ive never had anything this special to me; no because ive been in long term relationships

Really sorry to hear about if fella, but we are a tech forum... With lots of nerds... We are not exactly the best ones to ask about love as that is kind of alien to us

 

Anyway: Personally I would just back down for a while and let her and you think through stuff before you try to come together later. Maybe a bit of distance from eachother will be good for you?

Just kidding fellow. Of course I'd be willing to help you this is something I used to have trouble with now.. not so much

 

Basically analyze the relationship from an objective perspective as best you can, write down on paper what you think of is wrong, then after you come up with all you can possibly think, think again and again. After that, write down every possible solution to every problem.

 

Just a tip, seeing a health professional such as a doctor and seeing if you need antidepressants could dramatically effect you in a positive way.

Whenever you're about to argue with her, stop, calm down, think, is this really worth losing the person I love over? Realize it doesn't matter, accept you are wrong, even if you aren't, and move on to something else.

 

Always do little things for her to show her how much you care. For example if you know she hate doing the dishes or something, wake up early and do them, and make her breakfast or something.

 

Don't do it all the time or it'll be less special. Surprise her with roses once a month. Do something special once a week. Do something nice every day. But always asert yourself as a man she can be dependent on.

 

I've touched on a lot of things. Let me summarize them the best I can in one short message for the lazy folk.

 

tldr; analyze the relationship objectively, focus on self improvement (gym + antidepressants or something), do something special for her, but don't let her forget that you're a man in the relationship or she'll seek out someone who will be. (just how it is physiologically and physically)

I don't think we can give great advice on this topic although i would suggest that you would go to a girl forum and ask there what to do and have voice girls their opinions on the situation!
