Editing Set up

LewisMarkey

I have have recently upgraded my PC to improve editing performance, to get rid of preview lag and general slowdown in the program. I would have thought that after the upgrades my PC would have no trouble with my workload, usually involving applying velocity, sapphire plugins and color grading clips. However, Sony Vegas Pro 14 still freezes up and cannot preview in low resolution. Any thought as to weather this would be because my hardware isn't good enough, or could there be another issue?

In older versions of vegas you have to go into the settings and enable cuda acceleration as they are not usually enabled by default. This will use your gpu to accelerate the playback and rendering etc.

Should be under:

Options -> Preferences -> Video -> GPU acceleration of video processing
